A stage for unforgettable karaoke nights — including a custom room-booking tool.
Overview
Shangrila is a karaoke bar & lounge in Vienna with seven individually designed private rooms — from “Cheyenne’s Room” to the “Exclusive Lounge”. The website has to do two things at once: carry the dark, glamorous mood of the venue — and take guests to a finished room reservation in just a few steps. That is exactly what I built a custom, automated booking tool for.

The challenge
Seven very different rooms, changing availabilities and reservations that previously ran manually via phone and messages. The site needed to capture the lounge atmosphere while automating the entire booking process — without the team typing out every request by hand.
Dark, glamorous design
Deep blacks, warm gold and atmospheric room photography — the website feels like an evening in the lounge itself. Every room gets its own stage, plus a 360° tour that lets you experience the spaces before booking.
Automated room-booking tool
The heart of it: guests choose room, date, time and add-ons (e.g. sushi platters) right on the site. Availability is checked live, every reservation is written automatically into the team’s Google Calendar and guests receive a confirmation. A manual phone task became a seamless, automated flow.
